Now you have your blog created and launched with a lot of whoopla and fan fair, don’t you feel good about it? The next step in the game is to promote your site. If you do not promote your site no one will find it, or they will have to work harder to find it, as the traffic that it gets determines how easy it is to find. It’s important not to rely on luck that someday, someone who has a site of great importance will link onto your site and all of his loyal followers will link onto yours. It happens, but the odds are definitely not with you in your favor. Instead, you need to promote not only your main site, but each one of your most relevant posts that would be of interest to your niche site viewers. To do this, you need to list each one on the search engines.
This will help you gain rankings with them, as their spider bots reach out to gain valuable information about your site. Each post holds a unique address to itself, making it easy to list them individually with each search engine. Post them all, each and every one of them you wish to promote! Remember each post (or page) has its own unique content, which will allow readers to find exactly what they are looking for. Now that the search engines are hard at work, there are other things you should do to promote your blog.
Use the social media sites, Facebook, Twitter, Blogger sites, and promote your blog on your own main website. All of your followers will have the opportunity to go to your blog, view it, and possibly make comments, which creates even more back links. This is the only surefire way to growing your blog popularity on the internet! Promoting is time consuming but very fruitful. Before you know it you will be high on the ranking search engines and anyone will be able to find you. This is important! Don’t let your site fall in the rankings by not posting new content. You must visit and post a new blog about every two or three days. The worst thing you good do is sit on your status quo now and not post anything for months. People will not keep coming if they are not interested. Keep life exciting for your comment givers, make it valuable to them and they will not only comment on your site, but will send info to everybody they know.
