Best Blog scripts for designers?
I’m a web designer and I need to create A Blog. I know html and css. I want it to be simple to use and easy to style since I will be incorporating it into my site’s theme. I don’t want to work around a blog’s design, I want to style The Blog.
Is Wordpress this flexible?
You would at least have to have a clue about php to be able to modify a wordpress theme, though you can get quite far with html/css only. If you download a random theme, just browse through the .php files and the style.css file. They are the visual aspect of wordpress. Much of the php [between the “” tags are calling functions that retrieve data from the database.
If you are able to get through those files: go for it!
